Sarah Kriehn is a printmaker who creates one-of-a-kind Monotypes and Collagraphs. Her abstract prints depict her reaction to experiences and emotions resulting from particular events and locations. The message she strives to convey is diverse, yet consistent. Her compositions are bound together by a powerful sense of color and natural rhythm. She utilizes a personal visual vocabulary comprised of organic and geometric forms. Her original, hand pulled prints are created with lithography ink, on plexiglas and transferred onto paper with an etching press. Her finished prints are either framed, coated with resin or mounted on metal.
